Dark ruby red with a tinge of purple. Broad and intense with the red berry (marasca cherry and red currant) aroma typical of Merlot and of the varietal characters of Cabernet, enduring. Dry, salty, warm, well-structured, soft and with a long finish. 8-10 days of maceration after destemming and crushing, with regular periodical pumping over of must on pomace; the alcoholic and malolactic fermentation is entirely carried out in stainless steel tanks. The wine is subsequently fined for several months and is periodically racked with the addition of oxygen. After bottling, it is submitted to a short bottle maturation process for a further 3-4 months before consumption.
