Polished and open-textured, with an airy feel to the red cherry, tobacco and spice flavors, floating easily over refined tannins and lingering on the finish. Drink now through 2013. - Wine Spectator

Winemaker David Paige blends fruit from several Willamette Valley vineyards to produce this medium light red wine, which has a nice bouquet of pure red fruit with minerals and earth notes. The palate shows focused, mineral-laden light red cherry fruit with some smoky cherry on the finish and a quite high acid backbone. Finishes with round tannins and a smoky cherry note. Surprisingly elegant for an entry level wine. - International Wine Review

With its wide variety of origins and clones, this wine displays both red and black fruit aromas (cherries and raspberries), on the nose and the palate. In addition, one finds a light touch of brown spices (nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice) and even a little black pepper. True to our house style, it is elegantly textured with satiny, polished tannins showing in the finish. Pair it with salmon or ahi, veal or pork, poultry (think duck) or beef, or hearty vegetarian entrees. - Dave Paige, Winemaker
