This wine begins with a bright bouquet of freshly crushed rose petals and luscious dark fruits and berries. Fine leather and muted oak scents follow.
First tastes give a mouthful of just-ripened fruit. Soon, flavors become distinctly blackberry, dark cherry, and plum— hallmarks of the mountain vineyards of Pritchard Hill.
At mid-palate the wine reveals roundness and a full body, growing in complexity with time.
Soft, yet hearty tannins give a departing flourish and a graceful, lingering memory. Limited. Only 1,000 cases produced. - Winemaker
